The University of Maryland women's basketball team came back from a 10-point deficit at halftime to win in the final seconds of the game.
While the entire game was exciting, Alyssa Thomas' play with 17 seconds left became an ESPN Top 10 play today. The YouTube video shows Thomas making a bucket and drawing a foul to give the Terps a 75-74 lead over George Tech.
The enthusiasm from the team and fans was amazing to watch. As coach Brenda Frese said, "We just challenged the heart we had in this locker room, and obviously its tremendous heart that we have."
