I am not keeping up with this like I should be, but it is now on my list of things to do every day so hopefully that will now remind me.
Valentine's Day was yesterday and it was great - all thanks to Vince. He bought me flowers, skittles (my fav), a scarf to go with my red pea coat, a flower Pandora charm and a watch (although it would hardly fit a child's wrist). You may think that would take the cake for being an awesome gift, right? But, you're wrong. You see, I didn't get out of class until 6:15 p.m., so we couldn't go out for dinner. Instead, he made me a delicious dinner consisting of salmon (one of my favorites), asparagus, a baked potato and wine. Needless to say it was a really good night, besides being sick. Oh right, that was another gift he gave me earlier in the week- a full-blown cold. I'm sure I'll survive though, so I forgive him.
As for today, besides being sick it was an ordinary day. Vince and I ate at Ledos Pizza in College Park to help TerpThon. Unfortunately, we didn't realize we had to bring a slip for our waiter, so we didn't actually contribute to the cause, but it's the thought that counts, right?
I wish my life was more exciting like all the euro-blogs I have been reading lately, but College Park will have to do for right now.
A few interesting thoughts:
- Christmas lights remind me of stars
- Nyquil knocks me out (I'm surprised I haven't fallen asleep while writing this)
- Vince remains the best boyfriend around
- The green bus runs too frequently and has too few people riding it (can you say waste of money?)
- This crazy weather needs to start being constant
- I need to start dabbling in photography again. I miss it and this blog needs more pictures ASAP
